Description
Summary:碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 資訊管理系碩士班 === 103 === E-learning are often used in higher education in different countries since it can remove the barriers of time and distance. Generally, traditional education is based on attending classes, listening to lecture and appearing in exams. However, nowadays, many universities in Taiwan have set up e-learning systems to provide students with online access and learning content. It is very helpful for the students at rural area to learn modern knowledge and to diminish the gap of the digital divide. Besides, more and more companies also take e-learning to promote their employees’ working knowledge and skills. In this study, Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) (Davis, 1989) would be utilized to investigating IS adoption and usage to the students of art and design colleges in Taiwan. Due to the fact that the students of art and design colleges are a special group in a university, they might feel frustrated in using e-learning systems. Accordingly, the study utilized TAM to investigate the attitude of e-learning for art and design colleges’ student in Taiwan. The result shows that the perceived usefulness is still regarded as the most important factor and the other relations between the related factors are also significant. In other words, it is insignificant between art and design colleges’ students and others according to the statistical proof of the study.
