The machinery structure theory and ergonomics are combined together to submit the BSMSTOL. The advantages of this trainer are: 1. The learners can realize the whole movements of the breast stroke on land without the environment resistance of learning, 2. The learners can learn the whole details of the breast stroke, it includes (1) The kicking water of the breast stroke. The learners can realize the main points of kicking water by using the BSMSTOL. (2) The arm pulls of the breast stroke. The learner can realize the main points of arm pull by using the BSMSTOL. (3) The change breath of the breast stroke. The learners can realize the usage method of the back’ power while changing breath by using the BSMSTOL. (4) The learners can stimulate the whole process of the breast stroke by using the BSMSTOL. This trainer modifies the traditional swimming teaching and improves the existed swimming training equipment that focuses on the lower limbs strength training only. The leg simulation movements are refined to become the breast stroke kicking water. The simulation machinery of the breast stroke arm pull movements is increased. This trainer helps the beginning swimmers learn the breast stroke and the advanced swimmers modify the movements. Numerous tests have been made to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed BSMSTOL.
