In the first phase, questionnaires for gathering opinions from experts and scholars were collected. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was conducted for data integration. Then, through mathematical matrix calculations, the weight of each assessment factor was calculated. The results of the weight calculations showed that the top seven assessment factors, in the order from high to low, were: “Center of Gravity”, “Foreign Brand”, “Toughness of the Tube”, “Nano Resin”, “Price”, “Carbon Fiber”, and “Domestic Brand”. In the second phase, based on these seven assessment factors, pairwise comparisons of alternative brand options were conducted in questionnaires. Then, the method of AHP was applied for data integration. Through mathematical matrix calculations, the weight of each of the four alternative brand options was obtained. The results of the study showed the alternative racket brands in the order of weight, from high to low, were “Yonex”, “Victor”, “Wilson”, and “Fleet”. The results obtained from this study are consistent with the results expected by the badminton amateurs participating in this leisure activity.
