碩士 === 世新大學 === 口語傳播學研究所 === 103 === Through fantasy-theme analysis, this research tries to find what rhetorical vision is in the Chinese-style pop songs. Because of the representation and the important of pop music market, this research selects the Chinese-style pop songs in Jay Chou’s album as a case study, This research regards the song and MTV as the main body, then login and analysis of the fantasy-theme. Chinese-style pop music has its unique position in the market, the type of song is popular among Chinese around the world. From the point of view of development of a different political identity, but at the same time both of them accept the “Chinese-style” appearance that reproduce in the pop music. This research will explain this phenomenon and develop the rhetorical vision of the Chinese-style pop songs. After fantasy theme analysis, we can find that the rhetorical vision of the Chinese-style pop songs will be " loyalty ".Because of the Greater China region is effected by Confucianism, people always can accept this value system. In addition the Chinese-style pop songs suggest people should be loyal to where they come from and who they love. It makes people be touched in different levels and let audience accept this kind of music.
