The priority of enterprises nowadays is integrating and distributing their resources in the most optimized vision.
The ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is a newly introduced management information tool design to optimize enterprise resource allocation.
However, introducing the ERP can be very consuming, and, in some cases, the failing attempt to introduce ERP has a great influence on enterprise operation. When business owners are considering about introducing the ERP, they care the return on investment rate and the actual effect of the ERP the most. Since current effect analyze emphasize on major cooperation, my study tries to focus on traditional manufacture industry. By questionnaire method and case study, I try to discuss the current environment after introducing the ERP, the effect of personal factors and business process reengineering on the ERP andhow ERP impact the entire enterprise.
The study used a company that has an online ERP as the studying object. Based on literature reviews, we summarized 7 constructs and 83 indicators for our references to design questionnaires and in-depth interview. We expected to exam the ERP system’s influences on business competitiveness through customers, users, and system-wide issues. Our study finds out that introducing ERP system has positive influences on factors such as operational efficiencies, standardization of platform, and transparency of information. All these results show KPI and system satisfactory are positive.
