Description
Summary:碩士 === 世新大學 === 資訊管理學研究所(含碩專班) === 103 === Due to the signing of financial MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) and the assistance of ECFA (Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement), many Taiwan’s banks grasp this opportunity and aggressively open their branches in China. However, banking core systems are the most important things for setting branches in China. One issue is that the Taiwan’s banks need to adjust their own core systems significantly in order to meet the highly changeable requirements and related laws for the banking core systems and in China. The Taiwan’s banks have different approaches to solve this problem. Some banks choose to develop their own banking core systems while some banks select to use China’s local banking core systems. This research intends to understand Taiwan banks’ intensions to use China-developed banking core systems via the discussion on the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use based on the technology acceptance model. To the best of our knowledge, there is still no related research on the Taiwan bank’s intention of using China-developed core systems. This research focuses on the above mentioned topic and intends to find the key factors that affect Taiwan’s banks when using China-developed banking core systems. This research could be used as a reference when Taiwan’s banks want to introduce China-developed banking core systems. The results of this research show that the system quality, information quality and service quality are positively correlated with the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. The perceived ease of use is positively correlated with the perceived usefulness.
