Summary:碩士 === 世新大學 === 行政管理學研究所(含博、碩專班) === 103 === The objectives of this study are to examine current status of personal well-being, personality traits and job performance among the personnel at the Coast Guard Administration, and to explore further the relationship among well-being, personality traits and job performance. A survey questionnaire design and quantitative research were employed in this study, with sample respondents drawn from the Coast Guard Administration personnel. A total of 270 questionnaires were issued and 249 were collected. Among those 249 questionnaires, all were valid. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, one way ANOVA , Pearson product moment correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The CGA personnel with different personal background variables such as age, marriage status, education background, years of service and ranks exhibit no significant difference in experiencing well-being. 2. The CGA personnel with different years of service show significant difference in personality traits. 3. The CGA personnel with different age demonstrate significant difference in job performance. 4. On the scales under study, job performance has the best result, well-being was the second, and personality traits achieve last. 5. Personality traits have positive impact on well-being. VII 6. Personality traits have positive effect on job performance. 7. Personality traits have positive impact on job performance.
