碩士 === 東吳大學 === 社會工作學系 === 103 === The thesis is writing about me, a middle-class girl, born in 80’s. As the protagonist of this story, the girl was raised to be a tractable person and grew up with passion towards her original family, social work and migrant life. Faced with challenges from professional counseling, doubts about deficiency needs and the struggle between leaving home or not, she tries to trace her life stories and learns to speak out loud in her own voice. As time goes by, she came into adulthood at a time where hard work does not guarantee success. She swings between a stable life where obedience is rewarding, and a life full of challenges and adventures. It's also a record of the struggling in writing, which means the girl she was trapped by the conflicts that in her mind from time to time. However, despite ordinary upbringing in an ordinary family, the girl wants to live out a extraordinary self by self-determination. With the help of narrative study, the answer of ultimate question : "Who am I ?" is presented in the text. Finally, I realized that this writing process began when a stray dog took me home when I started to take notice and observe all that which takes place in my surroundings. In this journey where I came to face with my emotions and where my subjectivity finally emerges, I came to realize that the act of finding a place is not an objective process. It begins with trying to say goodbye, to my original family, my past and my beloved pet Xiong Xiong. I am still walking on this path of transformation and feeling the pain and forces that growing up brings. I will not escape；I will keep going bravely.
