Lin Yu-tang brought a lot of books when he was from China to the United States with his family, in such environment, Lin Tai-yi was imperceptibly influenced by constantly sees and hears, and she got many teachings and inspiration from Lin Yu-tang, literature gradually toward the same way. Lin Tai-yi served "Reader's Digest" Chinese version of editorial work for a longtime, Outside of work, she Committed to Chinese classics into English, the compilation of essays, writing dictionaries and fiction, not only inherited his father's mantle, also carried out their own literary achievements. In this paper, Lin Tai-yi’s "Lin Yu-tang Biography" for the Research and Analysis objects. Based on the relationship of father-daughter, observation on common life and deep feelings between Lin Tai-yi and Lin Yu-tang, what look special on the biography by showing? Intends to start from Lin Tai-yi’s background as a research , and Analysis "Lin Yu-tang Biography" of "Biographical forms" and "Biographical Content", then analyzes its position and value.
