Under the activeness of the new knowledge-based economy and the Electronic Commerce, along with the transfer of the industry, the growing trend of the micro/small enterprises are accelerating (Shan-Yi, Yang, 2013). It is a good opportunity to be an entrepreneur for retired national armed forces officers. However, what concepts are helpful to career changing and talent training is an important issue.
This study discusses the effects of the national armed forces officers investing in Intellectual Capital on entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial intention. Conducting the research mainly on the officers in Northern Taiwan, we use the questionnaire survey method : we released 220 copies of the questionnaires and collected 197 effective copies, reaching 89.5% of effective collection rate. After processing the statistical methods, descriptive statistics analysis, Pearson correlation, reliability analysis, etc., the research findings of the study are shown as follows: The relationship, social capital, human and Knowledgeable capital have positive influence on entrepreneurial motivation and intention. Finally, we infer to theoretical meaning and discussion. It will be helpful to strengthen the entrepreneurial intention of the national armed forces department to make plans on Intellectual Capital investment, educational training and interflow with enterprises. It will also promote the retired officers to have positive attitude to accommodate, discover a system for self-recognition, and make plans after retiring.
