After that more and more musicians noticed this very expressive instrument, and many composers had composed for clarinet, in this process clarinet’s function and playing skills sustained to improve. there are now twenty-first century many clarinetist hold the spirit of the experiment, they want to show the maximum tension expressive of clarinet, the German clarinetist Jörg Widmann is one of the important composers and clarinetists, which his " Fantasie for clarinet solo " full of imagination and tension, contains many different kinds of modern playing skills, it is a very important work of clarinet. Therefore, this paper analyzes the style and features of this work, sorting out which covers the representative of the modern clarinet skills and the interpretation and practice recommendations.
