Questionnaires is used to collect the necessary information, and Taichung elementary high grade students as the main targets. There are total 1,200 valid questionnaires. It analyzed with SPSS20.0 to carry out the descriptive statistics, one-way analysis of variance, correlation and regression analysis statistical analysis to be addressed. The results of this study are summarized as follows: First, parenting styles with an open authoritative way are the most, and to ignore the least. Second, the elementary high grade students who have their own smartphones are nearly the half 46.2%, to borrow other people's smartphone has nearly 46.4%, and those who never use smartphones are accounted for only 7.4%. Third, the elementary high grade students use smartphones for most is to play the games about 45.4%. Fourth, different attitudes of parents to discipline elementary high grade students have significant differences in the extent of smartphone addiction. Fifth, the degree of smartphones addiction has a negative relationship with all the subjects (Chinese, English, mathematics, science and social studies).
