Description
Summary:碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 台灣文學系 === 103 === Hao Yu Xiang, rising in the 80s, flowed the blood of feminism. This distinctive style can be seen in the context of her literature. With the coming of 90s, magic realism had become in¬creasingly popular.By combining this approach and feminism, Hao Yui Xiang created a new realm of literature. She combined life experience with the passage of time and space. Her innovative writ¬ing style extracted essence from the old classics and made both the new and the old texts coexist in her special novels, as she witnessed the transition of the new and old eras when living in in Peitou. Therefore, this paper focuses on the "intertextuality " of Hao Yui Xiang’s “You Ming Wu Yu” and highlights that Hao Yu Xiang tries to not only return to the tradition but also to leap out from the tradition, which makes her different from the other female writers. She not only continues writing the "demon" or "ghost" images from the old times but also projects the human greed and desire in modern times. The kind "demon", the selfish "human being", the malicious "ghost" are inextricably linked together and also make the circulation of cause and effect.
