| Summary: | 碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 企業管理學系 === 103 === In order to survive in today’s global international influence, companies must continue to innovate to maintain their competitive advantage, and have the spirit of adventure to diversify the investments. Also, it needs to cultivate a proactive attitude to develop new markets in order to create a higher corporate performance. This study is discussing the impact of entrepreneurship on the corporate performance. In Market Observation Post System (MOPS) semiconductor company annual report 2013, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is used to measure the quality of the entrepreneurship of the company, and multiple regression analysis is used to view the impact of entrepreneurship on the corporate performance. Finally, this study use cluster analysis and the median method for clustering and classification, and then observe the group and type of company’s entrepreneurship and corporate performance of its distribution.
According to this study, we have some interesting results. The first, entrepreneurship of Taiwan's semiconductor industry was badly that are subject to diseconomies of scale resulting from the operation. The second, no matter how long-term or short-term of entrepreneurship has a significant impact to ROE performance. The third, long-term entrepreneurship on ROE has a positive correlation but short-term entrepreneurship on ROE is negative that represents a long-term entrepreneurship. That will be the advantage of ROE performance in company while short-term entrepreneurship is negative for ROE performance. The fourth, based on the long-term and short-term entrepreneurship and on the superior or inferior of ROE performance that can be divided into nine combinations of ‘Entrepreneurship’ and ‘Performance’.
