Summary: | 碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 化粧品科學系 === 103 === Nanostructured Lipid Carrier (NLC) modified with modified surfactants was prepared by homogenization emulsification method. Using the NLC system for hydroquinone as a model drug, increasing the light stability of Hydroquinone, the properties of nanoparticles were investigated. When we add PLANTACARE 2000 UP to NLC, it may enhance the Encapsulation Efficiency, Drug Loading, Zeta potential, in vitro skin permeability and heat resistant. In this study, the materials we used were bees wax, caprylic / capric triglyceride, lecithin and surfactant. The optimized condition of NLC was found in stirring at 1200 rpm, homogenised speed at 8000 rpm, solid oil : liquid oil was 3 : 7 ratio and lecithin : surfactant was 3 : 1 ratio. The particle size was 393.30 ± 28.23 nm and the Encapsulation Efficiency was 22.13 ± 2.66 %. The zeta-potential of HQ-NLC was better than -30 mV. In the TGA studies, adding the PLANTACARE 2000 UP for HQ-NLC and it has heat resisting property better than the HQ-NLC which is without PLANTACARE 2000 UP enhancing 25.85 %. When add the modified surfactant with PLANTACARE 2000UP to NLC which is the permeability better than the permeability of the Blank about 125.10 %. In the Stability of light studies, the HQ-NLC after UVA/UVB energy have Inhibition rate better than the Inhibition rate of the Blank about 34.25 %. In the present study, NLC system has successfully improved the light stability of active compound and skin permeability of compound. Therefore, the NLC might be a potential delivery vehicle in dermal products.
