For example: solar energy and fuel cell systems. However, because of the low output voltage level from the above devices, it needs a high step-up ratio converter to get a risen voltage level to feed the requirements and applications of the later stages. To develop an interface of the use among these technologies, this paper offers a proposal to make a high ratio voltage-step-up converter which has a high power density. By experimental ways, the mentioned analysis and articles have been verified through an implementation circuit of a 2 kW two-stage interleaved high step-up ratio DC-DC converter. The two stage structure not only reaches the high step-up ratio voltage easily, but also helps to enlarge the flexibility while choosing power components and to lower the losses. The interleaved strategy is used on the parallel part, it contributes to the reduction of the ripple and assures the supplied power. The control units are UCC28220 and TL494, which are the 16 pins control ICs made by the TI company. They individually control the front and the rear stage. The experimental results prove that the two stages circuits indeed achieve the voltage level and lower the ripple of the circuits. At the same time, the implement circuit is not only efficient but also having a high power density.
