Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 數位學習與教育研究所 === 103 === The importance of online learning has been seen as a big issue for a long time. Moreover, learning conditions also impact deeply on students’ learning performances. The main purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between university students’ preferences in Internet-based learning environments and their learning styles. The participants were 377 university students. The results showed that students with different backgrounds, learning styles, and preferences in online learning environments are significantly different. And different learning styles do affect learners’ preferences of how they construct knowledge in Internet-based learning environments. The study also found that preference of learners for web-based learning is strongly influenced by learning style; in addition, higher levels of cognitive online learning environments can cope with different learning styles, and last, the results also told us that multiple learning styles may exist at the same time in one’s learning processes. Finally, the suggestions according to the findings for practical and future research, and as references for related research and education institutes are provided.
