| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 廣播電視學系碩士班應用媒體藝術組 === 103 === As the digitalization of broadcast being an inevitable trend in age of digital convergence, Taiwan had introduced DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) system, but it failed owing to overall environment factors. For these years, with the consecutive changes in media environment, there has been progress in technology of information, communication and communication convergence resulting in gradually getting out of the shadow that failed to promote DAB in Taiwan. How will the broadcasting digitization be innovated, spread and how the communication technology used by and satisfied the audience, whether the broadcast APP (Application) may achieve the both conditions are the research directions in this study.
The thesis adopts participant observation and focus group interview as the research method by inviting radio broadcasting practitioners, related professionals from industry, and the most important, radio audience, to discuss this new radio broadcasting technology and its future developmental potential. The research results indicate the broadcast APP is an option for audience after the digitalization of broadcast, which attract the attention of audience. The excellence of the program contents, however, is still crucial no matter how the technology evolve. In terms of the possibility of future development of broadcast APP, the discussion of this research provides viewpoints and suggestions from radio broadcasting practitioners and audience regarding this technology, and we hope it can bring relevant information for the broadcast media as reference.
