Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 舞蹈學系 === 103 === This is a story about my life and learning process that was accomplished through reading, writing and responding to the purpose of this progressive study to reflect on and evaluate experiences from my real life. There were four questions investigated in this research: What was the process of career anchor construction and change? What was the key event and meaning that affected the career anchor of construction and change? How was career resilience demonstrated? And what was the new understanding that resulted from my self-evaluation?
This research used “integrated-content” from Lieblich(1998)and narrative study methods to analyze and organize the data. The findings of this research are as follows:There are eight phases in the process of career anchor construction and change, which are ”Take dancing to be the greatest interest”, ”Take dancing as a lifelong ambition”, “Self-confused”, ”Finding life exports”, ”Happenstance brings changes”, ”Keep exploring myself”, ”Career anchor redirected”, and “Integrated and settled”. There are three key events and meanings that affect the career anchor of construction and change. These are “Denying one’s own dancing ability because of body image”, ”Enthusiasm and Love of dancing”, and ”Frustration in dancing in graduate school”. Then I analyzed the protection factor of my career-resilience and the new understanding of my self-actualizing is that I can take those “crises” in the past and integrate them now as opportunities for a “lucky chance” now, and they complete my life story providing significance through greater context.
At the end of this thesis, based on those findings, suggestions are provided for the person who is confused with career issues, those teenagers facing body problems in learning dancing, school educators, dance teacher and future researchers.
