Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 美術學系 === 103 === Ever since the 1960s when the pop art, a popular culture in American, has spread rapidly, some artists and art theorists have made the audiences directly participate in the art works, by which the arts have developed a lot to the 21 centuries now. In interactive art, both the artists and the audiences have played an indispensable role of participants. The interaction between the former’s creation and the latter’s participation has changed the creation state of traditional artists, which become full of ultimate potential owing to the computer. In the 1970s, such interaction and feedback were further promoted, and the audiences’ interaction was taken as a key element in the art creation. By the 1990s, the early interactive art works were still rather simple; nevertheless, the artistic works of interactive data have made some achievements through the development. Hence, the brand-new art can finally realize the dialogue and interaction between the artists, the audiences and the works.
Today, the popular application of digital technology has created more opportunities for the audiences to participate. The cooperation between the technical expert and artists will influence the necessary interaction between artist and the computer. As a key factor in the art creation, the cooperation with the media then can definitely change and improve the interactive art works in which the audiences participated. Interactive art is a work that the audiences involved in certain aspects. Some appliances enable the audiences to take part in the creation in person, including computer, detector, and sensors, whose response motions contain images, light, sounds, heat and touch, as well as other sensing technique. In the past, these works are impossible to realize. The perception by the audiences directly contacting with the works directly can make the works more complete. Therefore, the possibility of changing the way of the audiences involving in the art has added another approach to access to the art.
In interactive arts, a mechanism can be formed by the exploration and creation of atheistic and technology, which is the key of work design.
Focusing on the condition that artists can utilize the interaction of computer and digital multi-media techniques, as well as images, sound, light and mechanical equipment, this paper conducts analysis and comparison of artists’ works, to figure out a interaction mechanism by sorting out the digital factors, digital components and audio-video representations, which is the key to interactive art works. Based on the concept, it further explores the human-computer interaction, atheistic and techniques, so as to discuss and study the interactive works with manipulative instruments as the themes.
