The traditional two-dimensional drawing is no longer adequate to completely convey all construction information and to solve increasingly complex construction interface problems. The building information modeling (BIM) can provide three-dimensional visual models, parametric modeling, collaborative mechanisms, various simulation analyses, construction informatization, and conflict review. Therefore, BIM has been a new technology for the architecture, engineering, and construction industries, facilitating the informatization in these industries. The BIM technology can be widely applied. The amount of resources invested into BIM depends on the promotion and application scope of a project that a company proposes. Therefore, at the early stage of introducing the BIM technology, its benefits to the company and how to effectively invest resources in this technology should be clearly understood. Through literature review and expert meetings, this study determined the influential factors and the primary and secondary criteria for the introduction of the BIM technology into a construction company. Specifically, this study conducted a questionnaire survey and statistical analysis to determine the influential factors and the importance and priority of the primary and secondary criteria, thereby constructing the framework for the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) questionnaire. Subsequently, expert meetings were held to explore the implications of the influential factors and the importance and priority of the primary and secondary criteria. The results of this study may serve as a basis for companies to develop BIM strategies. 陳忠仁 2015 學位論文 ; thesis 79 zh-TW
