Maximum residual deformation of 7 tests is 0.15% of 2nd floor drift. This study also use finite element program ABAQUS to do finite element analyses for the specimen. Analyses result shows about 5% error in maximum force and 10% error in residual deformation from the test. ABAQUS model can accurately simulate DC-SCB behaviors.
