Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 103 === In the day that international exchange become frequent, not only let Sports competitions level up with sports exchange but also introduce the new knowledge and level up the academic level with PE and Sport Academic Exchanges. At the 1964, Japan held the Summer Olympics successfully, and thereby to level up the academic research greatly about PE and Sport. Moreover, the history and culture between Taiwan and Japan also have close relations. Therefore, Japan is one of the important countries in the development of Taiwan’s PE and sport academic exchanges. In this context, this study would explore the development of PE and sport academic exchanges between Taiwan and Japan from 1945 until 2012.
The study methodologies are historical method and expert interviews, and time of the study ranges from 1945 until 2012, and explore the development of PE and sport academic exchanges between Taiwan and Japan from three parts of exchanges on study in Japan, academic seminars and translation of PE and sport academic works from Japanese. The results are listed as follows:
1. With 50s and 60s, study PE and sport in Japan, the development of Taiwan’s PE and sport academic exchanges have started. But with the scholar studied in Japan retired year by year, and America is the principal country of overseas for a long time study in our country. It is hard to pass down the study PE and sport in Japan.
2. In 60s and 70s, under the demand of academic development, the translation of PE and sport academic works from Japanese were published by the recommendation and translation from the scholar studied in Japan. But with the development of PE and sport academic works become mature, the demand of PE and sport academic works also become less.
3. With 1973s Ministry of Education Department of PE was establishe, recommendation from the scholar studied in Japan and the close relations and convenient geographic location, the PE and sport academic exchanges between Taiwan and Japan would be realized in seminars. But with the scholar studied in Japan retired year by year, the key of recommendation and translation become less.
