Depending on the type of water consumed in the production process of consumption, it classified into three kinds, the green water footprint (green water footprint), the blue water footprint (blue water footprint) and gray water footprint (gray water footprint). In order to achieve effectively using water resource, we find the ginger to be a studying subject to defined water footprint and calculate all kinds of water footprint and view its feasibility.   In this study, we use the agricultural land in the Beinan rural to be a study object. We estimated amount of water consumed during the cultivation, and calculated the water footprint of products. The definition and the estimating results from this study is feasible and it can be used as a reference for the managers of water resource.
