Hence, the impression, atmosphere, and lyricism deriving from the internalization of concrete objects and expressing inner self hidden in her subconscious through creation of abstract paintings are the study focus of this thesis. The questions include the following: How is the transition between realism and abstraction? How to express self-emotion through figurative paintings? What can abstract paintings convey? Is it possible to interpret the creator’s hidden mind and characters via an artwork created in a state of unclear conscious processing? The above-mentioned questions will be further explored in the chapters to come. To answer these questions, the author has tried to create works of art with abstract thinking and the artistic means of realism and attempted to bridge these two ideas. Painting under this theme, the author has enjoyed the fun of wandering, shuttling, and gamboling in the creation of art and discovered the possibility of exploring the potential of herself. During this period, the author has received sudden lessons of life from friends, which led to the idea of combining the philosophy of life with artworks. The change and turn of mind during the course of creation and a grasp of advanced drawing and painting skills will also be covered in this thesis. The author hopes that such muttering and studys are able to bring readers a new understanding of art or their own philosophy of life.
