To address the issue, the identification of whether teachers’ background caused any differences among these three factors was discussed as to see the co-relation between teachers’ perception of their closeness of psychological relationship and power-distance. Also, the co-relation between teachers’ perception of their closeness of psychological relationship and political behavior was investigated. Last, the co-relation between power-distance and political behavior was investigated as well. Participants of the study were teachers teaching in Taipei, New Taipei City and Taoyuan county. 900 questionnaires were distributed to 30 junior high schools. 792 valid questionnaires were returned. The effective returns-ratio was 88%. The collected data was analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation. The findings of this research show: 1.Male teachers’ perception of their closeness of psychological relationship is closer. Their power-distance is higher. They tend to use communication skills in terms of their political behavior. 2.Teachers, with Master or Doctoral degree, perceive their closeness of psychological relationship closer. Their power-distance is higher and they tend to use communication skills in terms of their political behavior. 3.Teachers in private schools perceive higher power-distance. They tend to adapt conformity and authority in terms of political behavior. 4.Teachers with administrative duty consider their closeness of psychological relationship closer. Their power-distance is higher and they use political behavior frequently, especially deans. 5.Teachers at schools with 37-59 classes scale perceive lower power-distance. 6.Power-distance varies greatly between different generations. 7.Teachers considering their closeness of psychological relationship closer perceive higher power-distance. 8.Teachers with higher power-distance use more political behaviors.
