This study adopts historical research method, style modeling analysis method, music analysis method and comparative research methods, in order to achieve the purpose of the thesis: 1. Studies of music elements which in the Klee’s drawing. 2. Analysis on Veress’s interpretation of music work for Klee’s drawing. 3. Explores the correspondence and performance between in painting and music. This thesis is divided into six chapters: Chapter Ⅰ Introduction, which explains the motive and purpose of this study as well as research scope and limitations, research methods and procedures, literature review and noun interpretation and so on. Chapter Ⅱ explores into the art correspondence theory from the foundation and layer of art correspondence. Chapter Ⅲ investigates the relationship between music and painting, both the fundamental element and the composition form, with attempts to find common grounds on principle of beauty, and the forms of communication. Chapter Ⅳ discuses Klee’s and veress’s biographies, and in depth exploration on the relationship between Klee's painting and music. Chapter Ⅵ analyze seven music works of《Hommage à Paul Klee》from Veress, via comparative study on the original painting to further explore the correspondence of music and painting. Chapter Ⅵ the conclusion is: 1. Klee’s painting presents rich "musical". 2. Seven music works of Veress can convey art characteristics of Klee's painting. 3. Modern music and painting art are with “ correspondence” The researcher raises three suggestions to the application about “ correspondence in music and painting “: 1. Creation and appreciation of music guided with visual image. 2. Music assists in painting art creation and appreciation. 3.
