It is essential for them to be truly professional and effective. Continuing education classes help credentialed elementary music teachers to develop their knowledge and skills in teaching the subject of music, so they can catch up with the society and the world. This study not only integrated “Teacher Education Integration Program” and “Teacher Education Act” but also referred to the relevant studies of various countries for the further understanding of the requirements of a truly professional teacher. Besides, opinions and recommendations experts and scholars were included. The purposes of this research are as follows: 1. To understand if licensed teachers at elementary schools agree to get certification in teaching music. 2. To discuss the function of the certificate seen from music teacher’s viewpoint at elementary schools. 3. To set up a certification program for music teachers at elementary schools. The result of this research revealed that certification in teaching music has been highly welcomed by the music teachers at the elementary school. It is applicable and can be put into consideration in other subject areas in the future.
