It investigates the differences of teachers’ job satisfaction and organization commitment based on the variation of their background. The research instrument was “the questionnaire of elementary school teachers’ job satisfaction and organization commitment.” The sample is the teachers in the public elementary schools in Banqiao District of New Taipei City. It adopted the method of Stratified Random Sampling and the questionnaire survey was distributed to 447 teachers in the public elementary schools in Banqiao District of New Taipei City. There are 422 valid samples in total.The analysis includes descriptive statistics, t test, and one-way Anova, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient , Multiple Regression Analysis and the research results are described in the following: 1. The teachers’ total job satisfaction in Elementary School belongs to more moderate degree. 2. The teachers’ total organization commitment in Elementary School belongs to more moderate degree. 3. The teachers of elementary schools showed significant differences in job satisfaction by their gender, educational level, position, and school size. 4. The teachers of elementary schools showed significant differences in organization commitment by their age, seniority, position,and who needs transfer among schools. 5. There was a positive correlation between job satisfaction and organization commitment of the teachers of elementary schools. 6. The teachers’ job satisfaction could significantly predict toward the teachers’ organization commitment. According to the findings, this thesis makes some suggestions to authority of educational administrative organizations, elementary schools, and the researchers in the future.
