The environmental factors not only cause biased signals but also affect navigation accuracy . A GPS receiver that receives biased GPS signals can prevent loss of lock in signals with a VTL architecture using other satellite channels as aids, which exerts the disadvantage of mutual interferences between tracking loops that affect the entire system. As a result, failure of loss of lock of the satellite signals is the possible consequence of a drastic change or a slow growing in error signals. To avoid such an issue, the study employs integrity monitoring of rate detection. In general, common integrity monitoring can detect the error in real time for a drastic change, but the error with delayed detection occurs often takes more time since the error cannot be detected unless the cumulative exceeds the threshold. Based on the concern mentioned above, the rate detection method is used to deal with such issues. The test statistics of pseudorange residual of rate detection in association with the extended Kalman filter (EKF) is applied to calculate the variance ratio of test statistics for determination of whether the ratio exceeds the standard. If the ratio exceeds the standard, integrity monitoring can exclude the erroreous satellite, which assures normal operation of the VTL and consequently improve the robustness and positioning accuracy of the GPS receivers.
