Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 食品科學系 === 103 === The purpose of our study was to determine if there is uniform refrigeration temperature within the collagen “cold chain” and collect the ambient temperature via portable thermometer, seeks to provide recommendations for improving the quality of stored and transported the collagens within the recommended temperature ranges. In this study, a local collagen manufactures representative product was chosen as the sample in this collagen carrier (“cold chain”), two refrigerated transport company were selected to pickup and delivery the collagen using Styrofoam cooler boxes from collagen factory to warehouse at Taipei and deliver respectively to the destinations. Two collagen sample were cold store for 8 days at warehouse before deliver to the destinations, one of the collagen sample was placed directly above the cold agent another collagen is placed below the cold agent, the temperature of all deliveries were recorded using a thermometer, temperature data were typed into an Excel format and analyzed. Results showed that the collagen samples at warehouse were stored within the ideal temperature ranges, but the temperature within pickup and delivery process of two refrigerated transport company found significant ambient temperature via portable thermometer. These experiments proved that the ambient temperature caused by deliveried by non-professional refrigerated transport company and the collagen supplier who does not comply with these requirements of「GOOD DISTRIBUTION PRACTION」 and 「PIC/S GUIDE TO GOOD DISTRIBUTION PRACTICE FOR MEDICINAL PRODUCTS」, quality of the collagen not only rely on licensed physician before implantation but also rely on the liability of carrier for preventive measure and monitoring during transportation.
