In the first trial, six diets were formulated 0%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% and 100% of fish meal protein was rep1aced by FFPP for eight weeks. Orange-spotted grouper (7.10±0.17 g) fed 30% FFPP diet had the best weight gain (373.50%), specific growth rate (2.77 % day-1). However, the weight gain percent of orange-spotted grouper fed 30% FFPP diet was significantly higher than that of orange-spotted grouper fed 0% FFPP diet. In the second trial, five diets were formulated 33.8% of fish meal protein was rep1aced by FFPP and diets containing Bacillus thuringiensis at 0%, 0.5 %, 1 %, 2% and 4% for ten weeks. Orange-spotted grouper (6.12±0.76 g) fed 0.5% Bacillus thuringiensis diet had the best weight gain (503.28 %), specific growth rate (2.57 % day-1) and food conversion rate (1.05). In the third trial, negative control diets were formulated 0% of fish meal protein was rep1aced by FFPP. Postive control diets were formulated 33.8% of fish meal protein was rep1aced by FFPP. Other diets were formulated 33.8% of fish meal protein was rep1aced by FFPP and diets containing Bacillus thuringiensis at 0.125 %, 0.25 %, 0.5% and 0.75% for eight weeks. The weight gain percent of Bacillus thuringiensis 0.125% diet was significant1y higher than Bacillus thuringiensis at 0%.
