In order to solve this problem, grouper hatchery farmers sieve fish size regularly and raise them with different cages. However, the water flow is blocked in cages so that there are lots of feed and feces at the bottom, which can not be removed and polluted water quality. It will take risk of disease out of control. Removing process of feed and feces will spend lots of labors and time in water exchange.
Even in laboratory has developed an air lift pump of decontamination device, the upper rotating of decontamination collector and the bottom rotary of decontamination collector were carried out to remove sediments in recirculation system. It has not yet completed so that we should have more researches to improve system. This study focused on further to improve rotation solid substance collector and to enable more in commercial and practical. The rotation solid substance collector was installed on base equipment of aquatic farming. It will be used in flowing and pressuring during draining and to remove sediments automatically without electric drive. This device included a rotation shaft which connect device at bottom.On the other hand, sewers were connected to the shaft rotation and to extend in the wall. Spiral blades and drive shaft were connected at the central sewers. Furthermore, the drive assembly with wheel was connected to shaft outer. When it is draining, flow water could enter to device center to make spiral blades and shaft drive in efficiency working. It was also to make transmission assembly drive in rotation of scroll wheel. Finally, it could bring the device to rotate at the bottom, and to remove the solid at bottom dynamically.
In many times of different physical tests, the results showed that the removal efficiency closely related to drainage of flow rate, On the other hand, “retractable elbow” could let solid substance collector to close the ground so that it could cleanmore solid. In addition, the rotation solid substance collector could apply in the recirculation system. Moreover the results of two experiments showed that aquaculture tanks which were equipped with a solid substance collector not only remove sediments effectively, but also it could save money for labors to clean up. If this system build a good bacteria bed, it could reduce the frequency of water exchange. The rotation solid substance collector is not only to apply in nursery stage, but also in marketable fish culture. After further improvements, the efficacy and lifetime of this rotation solid substance collector could not only apply to partical industry but also progress to mass production.
