The study through the interview and narrative method to analysis and organize. The results are divided into the following four points:1.Team training mode and style. One of the more widespread problem is the composition of the coaching staff and the shortage of personnel. This disallows us to split the training content evenly. NTNU basketball team established their own style, and a defensive team to fast style based. 2.Team management. Each team must have a common operating philosophy in order to function properly. As such, NTNU basketball team inculcates the school’s core values into their philosophy in the team, which eventually forms the acronym of National Taiwan Normal University- No Team No Us. 3. The Physical Education Office in NTNU should establish a marketing unit to help out in the operation of the team. They should help NTNU basketball team through the social network, build up the team’s brand, and actively seek business cooperation and allow the establishment of industry-academia cooperation mechanism to create a win-win result between the school team and industries. 4. Building Team Identity and Culture. NTNU basketball team aims to establish the feeling of home within the team, so that each player will be more than willing to play for the family, and to create a sense of identity in school. The study suggest that the relevant government units could provide more funding in future sports development project for the team at all levels, and increased coach training, team management, team marketing and other related discussion forum. They should also promote team development to enhance the competitiveness of home-based basketball.
