Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 運動休閒與餐旅管理研究所 === 103 === In Taiwan, Sightseeing Activity is a popular leisure. Owing to folk religion, this kind of activities is composed of religion and leisure. Most of people always consider that the activity is equal to pilgrimage activity, and giving some stereotypes of elderly people, grand kowtow and so on. This study based on Cultural Anthropology. In terms of research methods, I used the text analysis, participatory observation, depth interviews. Attempts to record the Sightseeing activity and construct the relationship between the residents of Niu-Pu community and sightseeing activity. As a result, sightseeing activity is a social activity, not a pilgrimage activity. Base on shared belief, geographical relationship and blood relationship, they get together by social network and desire to find social support and self-value. Religion is just a medium, let the residents of Niu-Pu could join the sightseeing activity, then interact with other people and construct collective consciousness through the medium. Sightseeing activity becomes a form of leisure to people who lives in Niu-Pu community.
