Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 藝術史研究所 === 103 === The aim of this paper is to explore Extended Prosperity Palace延福宮 during the Emperor Huizong period through the analysis of Qu yan曲宴, one of the important imperial feasts in Northern Song dynasty. The Extended Prosperity Palace was established in 1113 by the Emperor Huizong. It should be one of the important palace complexes because it was still used for giving imperial feasts after the emperor built Gen yue艮嶽, magic marchmout. However, there is no research on the palace as a place to give imperial feasts. Therefore, the paper analyzes historical records on the feasts Qu yan held in the Extended Prosperity Palace. It also discusses that the feast Qu yan included diversified activities was developed by the Emperor Huizong, and that buildings and landscape in the palace respectively had different spatial roles when the feast was given. The paper concludes that the Extended Prosperity Palace is representative of the Emperor Huizong’s palace because the palace was designed for the imperial feast Qu yan which was one of the main interests of the Emperor Huizong.
