| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 人類發展與家庭學系 === 103 === In order to understand the perception and practice of parenthood in Taiwanese businessman family, researcher carried out semi-structured interviews with fathers and mothers from Taiwanese businessman’s families. Researcher also intends to know that after Taiwanese businessman leaving from home, what’s the perception and practice of parenthood and how they solve the difficulties and problems when parenting.
The findings are as follows:
1. The perception of parenthood in Taiwanese businessman’s families are not easy to be effected after Taiwanese businessman leaving from home.
2. Fathers in Taiwanese businessman families are not only play the role of breadwinner, but expect more devotion and interaction in family.
3. Mothers in Taiwanese businessman families struggle to keep balance between work and family. And they are much more important in father-children relationships.
4. Every Taiwanese businessman families tried to overcome difficulties after the family are separated. They have their own way to adapt their family life, for example, the support network of original family and friends, improving the way of parenting, etc.
According to the findings, suggestions regarding to Taiwanese businessman family are proposed to families, schools and institutions.
