The relationships between the healthcare workers, patients and related supporters sometimes are complicated which may not be supportive and trust to each other. Thus, the “Healthcare Impressions” exhibition attempted to provide some stimulation and feedback for the healthcare workers to think about themselves. For example, if he or she, the healthcare worker, has experienced emotional trauma or medical dispute during the medical treatment, they may feel comfort, warmth, and support through the paintings. Furthermore, they could remember and think about the ideal and passion which led them to the career in healthcare in the beginning. According to the research objective, the thesis structure is divided into six chapters: In the chapter one, the researcher demonstrates the motivation of this thesis by describing the changes of Taiwan social structures recently and her own experience with illness as well as the feelings about the medical caretaking during her lifetime. The second chapter discusses the theoretical basis of “Healthcare Impressions”, such as, the relationship between healthcare, disease and mental health, the concepts and characteristics of Realism, and the literature review of medical art works. After that, the status of current healthcare setting in Taiwan as well as the artistic appreciation of the “therapeutic paintings” is illustrated in chapter three. In chapter four, the contents, elements, materials and techniques which were used in the “Healthcare Impressions” paintings are explained in details. Eventually, the researcher attempts to build up some reflection through her art works and make some conclusions and suggestions about this research in further. Hsin-Fa Su 蘇憲法 學位論文 ; thesis 77 zh-TW |
