| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 工業教育學系 === 103 === The purpose of this study was to examine the career maturity of junior high school students in Taipei City. The method of this study was questionnaire survey. The instruments of quantitative research was a self-developed questionnaire, entitles ”A Study of The Career Maturity of Junior High Schools Students in Taipei City” Questionnaires were distributed to 1020 sampled junior high school students in Taipei City. The response rate was 94.4%, and 817 copies were valid for further procedure. The data was analyzed with the software package SPSS for windows (version22), and descriptive statistics-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were performed. Major findings were as follows:
1.The career maturity of junior high school students in Taipei City was moderate.
2.Significant differences of career maturity, vocational choice, and vocational attitude were indicated in relation to sex.
3.Significant differences of vocational knowledge was indicated in relation to father`s education, mother’s education and father`s vocation.
4.Mother`s education did not shown influence upon their children’s career maturity.
5.Attending technical education program did not shown influence upon career maturity of junior high school students in Taipei City.
Implications of the findings and suggestions were also proposed for practical considerations, junior high school teachers and future studies.
