Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 國語文學系國語文教學碩士班 === 103 === This study aims at discussing the usage of classifiers in Chinese textbooks of Han-Lin edition under 9-year consolidated curriculum. It uses Content Analysis and Comparative Analysis to compare with Kang-Hsuan and Nan-I editions in order to understand the using times and types, the utilization ratio, the distribution in every book, the repeated using in continuous grades and the differences of the three editions. The research results are as follows:
1. The using times and types of the classifiers in the Chinese textbooks of Han-Lin edition are increasing dramatically when entering the third grade from the second; only loan noun and verb classifiers are decreasing; others like individual classifiers, collective classifiers, quasi-classifiers and indefinite classifiers are increasing with grades.
2. The individual classifiers of those used in the Chinese textbooks of Han-Lin edition show the highest ratio; others are quasi-classifiers, collective classifiers and indefinite classifiers.
3. To divide the classifiers in the Chinese textbooks of Han-Lin edition with grades, more than 50% of classifiers are used in higher grades; as for the usage of types, more than 70% of classifier types are used in the Chinese textbooks of Han-Lin edition.
4. The frequencies of using classifiers present the positive correlation between the Chinese textbooks of Han-Lin edition and Chinese balance corpus of Academia Sinica.
5. Compound classifiers are not used in the Chinese textbooks of the three editions; the types and usage of individual classifiers are the most.
6. The classifiers in the three editions do well at connecting grades.
7. The using types and times of the classifiers in Han-Lin edition are better than those in Kang-Hsuan and Nan-I editions.
8. The three editions show higher ratio of frequently used classifiers in spoken language; most of them are consistent with the trunks presented in Chinese balance corpus of Academia Sinica.
