Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 生態科學與技術學系生態旅遊碩士班 === 103 === Syaman Rapongan and Ahronglong Sakinu’s aesthetic ethic are that through natural experience they could realize the traditional environmental (religious) ethics and feel the beauty of nature, which are internalized into their tacit knowledge, so they have a heartfelt actively willing to protect the natural environment. In their aesthetic experience of nature, the “kinship” with nature is the common character that Syaman Rapongan and Ahronglong Sakinu described natural beauty. It makes them feeling they have been accepted by nature, could gain the sense of belonging from nature to discover the beauty of nature, and then they are willing to protect the natural environment. However, Syaman Rapongan and Ahronglong Sakinu’s aesthetic ethic as stoicism, which stressing the unity of spiritual (mind) and physical (body) in aesthetic experience of nature, also emphasis on ethics and theology. The animistic belief from father and other elders assist both of Syaman Rapongan and Ahronglong Sakinu’s feelings of the natural beauty forming environmental ethics. It demonstrates the relationship of interaction of aesthetic and ethic different from unidirectional relationship of aesthetic ethic discussed by Leopold, Rolston and Callicott. Nevertheless, Syaman Rapongan relative to Ahronglong Sakinu, he has more natural experience alone contact with nature, which is based on individual experience to assist himself feeling the beauty of nature, and to form the attitudes and behaviors of respectful love. When father via Anito(evil spirit) influence Syaman Rapongan, they have a conflict of state ethic and aesthetic. Syaman Rapongan thinks that nature of respectful love is more heartfelt respect nature than the fear of respectful nature, which demonstrate Leopold, Rolston and Callicott how praised the base of aesthetics to form the environmental ethic. Whether it is ecotourism, environmental ethics education or informal education should be increased opportunities for individual experience of nature to implement ecological (scientific) knowledge learned content, then people can assist a free, observing and heuristic structure of concept to form or realize (traditional) environmental ethics.
