Prolonged sitting postures in vehicle may provoke risk factors for the musculoskeletal system. The suitable support improves the appearance of car seat defects in order to solve the seat ergonomics. Most of related products lack of depth assessment of biomechanical. The study recruited 24 male subjects to participate in biomechanical evaluation of different car seat support modules. Comparison of four kinds of support assembly in terms of the spine angle, with shoulder-support combination has significantly in angle of the head and the angle between the head and chest. In electromyography section, compared with the neck-shoulder support and the others has a lower %MVIC values performance. In interface pressure measurement, with the neck support composition in peak pressure and mean pressure significantly better than without the support and shoulder support. In questionnaire rating, the Neck-Shoulder support has the lower scores than the others. Neck support and shoulder support has its own advantages performance, but lacked of fitting and support. Neck-Shoulder combines the advantages of those, provides good posture keeping and comfort seating environment. Keywords: Neck-Shoulder pain, spinal angle, EMG, interface pressure, discomfort
