Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 戲劇創作與應用學系碩士班 === 103 === This study uses the action research method to achieve an in-depth understanding of how teachers use seasonal stories to conduct drama courses in kindergarten, and perform the seasonal stories developed through joint effort from teachers and students. The perspectives of the teacher and students are explored. For the teacher, the purpose is to find methods to design drama courses involving seasonal stories, to conduct the instructional portfolio for drama courses with seasonal stories, and guiding children in performing seasonal stories. For the children, the study explored their understanding of and response to seasonal stories after experiencing drama courses with seasonal stories.
Results of this study showed that for teachers, when designing seasonal stories, it is necessary to select the suitable picture books with seasonal stories, then use the stories in the picture books to create the context of drama. When conducting drama courses with seasonal stories, the children have to be gradually led to enter the world of drama, then use the cycle model of drama development to promote the dramas. When guiding children to perform seasonal stories, the drama strategy suitable for children’s performance must first be selected, paying attention to issues of order, rules, and times in the performance process. For the children, they had deepened understanding for the meaning of seasons and responses to the roles in the stories.
In summary of the above content, the researcher proposed specific conclusions and recommendations to serve as a reference for teachers and researchers interested in this field in the future.
