The purposive samples are the interviewers that are five different families having infants with visual impairment, and the data analysis was based on the exploratory qualitative research method. After analyzing and discussing the collected data from the interviewers, three major findings in the study list as following: 1.The parents, caring for visual impaired children, had the concepts of the development delay and early intervention. Their needs are included the functional vision rehabilitation, the homogeneous group support, the low vision-aids service, and home service program. 2.Caring for the visually impaired children, the parents take the early intervention lacking of the visually-impaired knowledge and supports. They actively seek for intervention services and participated in children's intervention activities. 3.The significant improvements on visually impaired children who accept early intervention program draw closer on mental and physical developments to the same age children. Besides, parents also gain exaltation through accepting program. To conclude, this research sums up four suggestions based on our findings: It is necessary to (1) establish tracking mechanism to potential risk of vision impairment, (2) provide the integrated service for visual impairment children, (3) equip early intervention team workers with professional knowledge of vision impairment, and (4) provide initiatively services and support by early intervention worker.
