Furthermore, the study attempted to talk about the differences between learning strategies and climate misconceptions in geography in terms of gender and grade. The survey research was with questionnaires. There are 810 subjects who study in junior high school in Taichung city. They are sampled with cluster random sampling strategy from junior high school in Taichung city during. The data collected were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson Product -Moment Correlation and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results are as follows: 1. The learning strategies of junior high school students were scored as a middle-high level. 2. The girls are better than the boys in the whole learning strategies. 3. Seventh-graders are better than eighth-graders in the whole learning strategies. 4. Climate misconceptions of geography of the junior high school students can be summarized as the impact on the climate of latitude, the impact on the climate of topography, the impact on the climate of monsoon, characteristics of temperature in Taiwan, and characteristics of rainfall in Taiwan. 5. No significant differences between the boys and the girls in climate misconceptions of Geography. 6. The ninth-graders’ climate misconceptions of geography are less than seventh-graders and eighth-graders. 7. There is a significant relation among learning strategies and climate misconceptions of geography. 8. Learning strategies can predict climate misconceptions of geography.
