Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 諮商與應用心理學系碩士班 === 103 === The purpose of this study was to understand the contents, the process, and the benefit of counseling psychologist’s self-awareness in sandtray. The two participants of this study were female who had license of counseling psychologist. The participant was creating sand trays and interviewed in four times. Data were presented and analyzed by narrative research method. The findings and conclusions were as follows: 1.The contents of counseling psychologist’s self-awareness in sandtray included the aspect of system, client and self. In the aspect of system, counseling psychologists would choice to obstruct the external interruptions and protect themselves from burnout. In addition, when they were aware of negative emotions and restrictions, they would reposition their professional role. In the aspect of client, counseling psychologists would try to understand the client’s distrust for promoting counseling efficiency. As well as, they would clarify the meaning of restrictions on themselves or client, in order to increase the flexibility of counseling work. In the aspect of self, counseling psychologists would reflect on the meaning of internal trepidation and struggle. Facing difficulties also would make them promote self-growth, in order to obtain the motivation at counseling work. 2.Counseling psychologist’s self-awareness in sandtray would experience the stages: "out of the external difficulties", "return to cope with inherent conflict", "toward autonomy and peacefully ". 3.The benefit of counseling psychologist’s self-awareness in sandtray included "releasing emotion at counseling work", "seeing the state of counseling work", "expressing negative and fragile self", and "constructing self-awareness repeatedly". The results of comparison and analysis were discussed. Based on the discussion, suggestions were made for counseling psychologist and future researchers.
