Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 美術學系碩士班 === 103 === "Anxiety" is the main thesis in my dissertation. People usually have negative understanding of anxiety, which is what people must have been through. In this dissertation, the author will define the term "anxiety" in a positive way. He will also show how to deal with anxiety by practicing it with art work. This dissertation includes five chapters. The first chapter contains the motive and purpose of this research. The second chapter refer resources of physiology, psychology, and religion to explain what causes anxiety and how to let go. At the aspects of physiology, lots of research approve that the cognition could lead to the mental condition. The mental condition affect the physical. "Being extremely suspicious" is one of the best examples. In the Tibetan Buddhism, the term "bardos" proves this theory that people feel pain and chaos while being anxious. However, it is the moment that they have the most choices and get changed the most. If you avoid anxiety, it might bring you contemporary comfort but will lead to problem formation. The third chapter illustrates memory of anxiety, color applications to films, and the association between color and the creator himself. It also includes how to combines the creation techniques and exposure therapy to heal and face anxiety. The fourth chapter illustrates the ideas for the series of works. The conclusion in the final chapter Indicates that anxiety or not is depends on the cognition. One theory could have many aspects of explanations. We could see this in the explanations of anxiety. The physical theory shows the cognition could affect the mental. To stay in anxiety, the only choice is to see it differently.
