This study is based on following with interest the exterior spaces in social reality. The leave or the keep of homes, lands, the existence of life, the confrontation between spirituality and materiality, these important elements could turn out to be an intimate whispering inside of heart as an endless deep thinking or a resistant reaction towards the homes being torn apart and the fragile solitude nowadays.
A contrastive but similar state between exterior living spaces and interior emotional ones has been uncovered in this research. The purpose is to look back the past that still remains something untold there, to find out the space images from capacity of imagination with spatial poetics, and to definite any possibilities, thoughts, memories, dreams, etc. in spaces; hence breaking through the barriers of binary spaces, getting beyond in meditations, achieved an intergral equilibrium in extremity. With the help of the relevant works of art, in the beginning, the Chirico's metaphysical arts----spatial characteristics----will be discussed, then the second, Edward Hopper's realistic description concerning contemporary American society will be revealed, and the last, Gerhard Richter's demonstrations of social states from his various ideas in paintings.
"Windows" consist the main element in this study, defined as an individual "window view/field" space. All the emotions happening not only in "space opposition, "confrontations of natures", even "opposed positions with individuals", with deep feelings hardly explored, will be further examined after having viewers perceive the reverberations/ reflexions inside of heart between two extremities. An intimate conversation will be opened between incessant exterior/interior spatial dialectics.
