A Study on the Relationship among of Leisure Patterns, Leisure Motivation and Leisure Constraints of Elementary School Students in Chiayi County

碩士 === 國立臺灣體育運動大學 === 運動管理學系碩士班 === 103 === Abstract The purpose of this study was to understand the current situation of students from elementary schools in Chiayi upon their Leisure Patterns,Leisure Motivation, Leisure Constraints, and further compare the differences of studied variables on different student demographics, and to explore the correlation among them. The subjects for this study are students from elementary schools in Chiayi.1020 students were cluster sampled with whom 1020 questionnaires were distributed while 642 were valid responses,corresponding with a 63% refern rake. To compute the data,descriptive statistics,Factor analysis,one-way MANOVA, Scheffe’s post-hoc,and path analysis were utilized for analyzing the data. According to above conclusions, suggestions are offered for schools and parents, administration organization of education and advanced researchers. The major findings are summarized as follows: 1. Significant differences of leisure Patterns and leisure participation are found under diverse gender, and social and economic status. 2. The study found that there is a positive correlation between leisure motivation and leisure patterns. And there is a reverse correlation between leisure motivation and leisure constraints.
