This quasi-experimental designed study includes twenty-five patients in the experimental group who received a 6-weeks Baduanjin qigong exercise training program, and Twenty-six patients in the control group who did not receive any intervention. The Perceived stress scale (PSS)、 European Cancer Treatment and Research Organization Quality of Life Scale (EORTC-C30)、absolute neutrophil count (ANC) 、immunoglobulin G、 immunoglobulin A、immunoglobulin M were measured at the first week of pre-intervention and the sixth week after intervention. SPSS for Windows version 19.0 was used to analyze the data, including descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, Mann - Whitney U test method and generalized estimating equation ( GEE). The results showed that Stress scores (PSS) in the experimental group after 6 weeks Baduanjin Qigong exercise training was significantly lower than the control group (P <.05) and the overall quality of life in experimental group was significantly higher than the control group (P <.05).However, there were no significant differences on physical function, role function, cognition function, social function, emotional function , physiological symptoms and immune function between two groups (P> .05).
